Dementia Research Leaders Awards 2015

Alzheimer's Society is delighted to announce its new Dementia Research Leaders awards for 2015. 

The Alzheimer's Society's Dementia Research Leaders programme provides funding and development opportunities for people from biomedical, clinical and social science backgrounds from the start of a career in research through to establishing themselves as independent investigators. 

They have developed the award programme to recognise the contribution that early-career researchers make to dementia research and people affected by dementia. 

The awards are to be awarded at the Gala dinner at the Research conference, 29 June 2015.

Winners of the prize will receive £1,000 support to travel to a conference of their choice in the next year.

Runners-up will receive a commendation certificate

Nominations can be made for awards in three categories:

Academic achievement

  • Using research evidence
  • Patient and Public Involvement, and public engagement

Welcome to the International Dementia Design Network

The aim of the network is to provide a forum for collaboration in dementia design research, innovation and education.

The network is open to individuals and organisations whose work and interests relate to design making a positive difference to the quality of life of those living with dementia.

The network is led by the Dementia Design Group at the University of Salford 

The network was launched in January 2013.
