International Training Programme on Ageing

The Centre for Ageing Research and Development in Ireland, in association with The Irish Network for Research in Dementia and Neurodegeneration (INRDND), The Alzheimer Society of Ireland, Alzheimer's Society Northern Ireland and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Institute of Aging will host a three day International Training Programme on Ageing on 22, 23, 24 September in Trinity College Dublin.

It will focus on the theme of dementia and memory impairment. This training event is aimed at PhD, postdoctoral researchers and early career researchers. For more information on the programme (including confirmed speakers) and application procedures see

Welcome to the International Dementia Design Network

The aim of the network is to provide a forum for collaboration in dementia design research, innovation and education.

The network is open to individuals and organisations whose work and interests relate to design making a positive difference to the quality of life of those living with dementia.

The network is led by the Dementia Design Group at the University of Salford 

The network was launched in January 2013.
